I don't get why I would want to detach myself from my health bar, as it doesn't benefit me. So the joined together theme isn't really well executed IMO.
The presentation is really interesting, and the game is fun, but it could have been better with more stages.
That's actually quite a good point. The idea was to use it as cover, but that's sorta doable as is anyway, so perhaps with more time we could/should have implemented some more mechanics that specifically encourage disconnecting the health bar.
